Y-o-y percentage change in wine prices in Italy Q2 2017-Q3 2023, by wine type
Wine prices in Italy varied greatly between 2017 and 2023. Indeed, in the second quarter of 2018 the price value of produced wine had its highest increase with a growth rate of 38.2 percentage points, while in the third quarter of 2019 wine prices were affected by a decrease of 18.5 percent. In the third quarter of 2023, the price had increased once again by 1.5 percent. The regular wine was affected the most by price fluctuations, reaching a peak of -40.2 percent during the second quarter of 2019.
